Sean's Yellow Tomato
Why I grow it
I love yellow tomatoes, and Sean's Yellow has earned its place in my garden. It produces beautiful golden-yellow fruit on a surprisingly compact plant, with proper tomato flavour rather than simply being pretty. A particularly useful one if you want interesting tomatoes but don't have room for enormous vines taking over the neighbourhood.

In the kitchen
Firm, juicy flesh and a lovely fresh flavour make this a really useful eating tomato. Slice it for sandwiches, salads and platters, or combine it with red and dark tomatoes where that golden-yellow colour looks gorgeous.
In the garden
This is an excellent tomato for smaller gardens and containers. Sean's Yellow has the sturdy, compact growth characteristic of dwarf tomatoes rather than producing a huge sprawling vine. It crops heavily for its size, although staking is worthwhile once the plant is carrying plenty of fruit.
