Moonglow Tomato
Why I grow it
One of the reasons I love Moonglow is simply that it keeps going. In my garden it produces beautiful orange tomatoes right through the season until the first frosts finally call time. The fruit is fleshy, sweet and full of flavour, and it's another of those golden tomatoes that earns its space year after year.

In the kitchen
Moonglow has dense, meaty flesh with relatively few seeds and a mild sweetness, making it a particularly lovely slicing tomato. Use it fresh in sandwiches, salads and platters, especially mixed with tomatoes of other colours. It also holds well after picking — useful when the kitchen bench begins disappearing beneath the summer harvest. Veg Variety
In the garden
A vigorous indeterminate variety that continues growing and setting fruit through the season. Moonglow produces smooth, bright-orange fruit rather than one concentrated crop — and in my garden it has proven particularly good at carrying on until the cold weather finally stops it.
Care
Grow in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil. Water consistently as fruit develops and feed during flowering and fruiting. Give the vines sturdy support, tie in new growth as needed and protect from frost.
